The Unfading Glow—Living Beyond the Veil
When Moses was in the wilderness and in the direct presence of God, his face had a divine glow about him because he was in the physical presence of the Ark of the Covenant. Yet, as majestic as that encounter was, the glow would eventually fade due to the fallen nature of the world.
Under the old covenant, the hard requirements of the law hardened minds and hearts, trapping humanity in a relentless cycle of striving just to briefly catch a glimpse of His glory.
Everything changed when Jesus finished His earthly ministry, ascended to heaven, and left us the Holy Spirit to permanently indwell us.
Because the Holy Spirit lives inside every redeemed believer, we do not carry a temporary reflection of glory that fades away; rather, we carry an unshakeable, bold glow. When we are fully consecrated and aligned with Jesus, our very presence becomes an extension of His presence, and our words become His.
He speaks to us, He speaks through us, and He speaks through others as the unified body of Christ. This is one of the many breathtaking gifts of the Spirit.
Because we carry His presence into a dark world, we are never walking alone.
Think about those moments when you are facing a trial and desperately need a rescue. Out of nowhere, a stranger steps in to aid you, and as you talk, you discover a profound truth: they are a believer as well.
That is not a random coincidence. That is the body of Christ operating across frequencies, orchestrated by the Holy Spirit to pull you through the resistance of this world and remind you that you are deeply loved, protected, and never abandoned.
Carrying His Presence: Do you realize that through the indwelling Holy Spirit, you carry a permanent, bold glow into the world rather than a fading reflection?
Being His Voice: Are you allowing Jesus to speak through your words and actions to encourage others around you today?
Recognizing Divine Rescues: When unexpected help arrives in your times of need, do you recognize the hand of the body of Christ at work?
Father, thank you for the absolute Truth of your Word and the miracle of the New Covenant. Thank you that unlike Moses, whose glow faded in the wilderness, we have been blessed with the permanent, indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Forgive me for forgetting the power of your Spirit within me. Help me to walk in bold alignment with you today, letting your presence shine through my life and recognizing your body at work when I need rescue. In Jesus' name, amen.
