The Lord's Promises and the Process of Refinement

When the Lord tells you something is going to happen, and it aligns with His character as revealed in the absolute Truth of the Bible, then you must believe it. But receiving a promise from God is rarely an instantaneous event; it is usually the beginning of a profound process of preparation.

Before God hands you a massive blessing, He must first prepare you to carry it. If He gave you the blessing while you were still operating in your old flesh, it would actually destroy you.

So, He begins to strip away all the "bad programming." This refinement process often involves removing the people, the toxic circumstances, and the worldly mindsets that are hindering you from being fully aligned with Him. It can feel painful to lose things we thought we needed, but this is God’s protective love in action, ensuring that His blessing will prosper you and not harm you.

During this refinement period, your physical circumstances will often dictate the exact opposite of what God promised. This is not an accident; this is the battlefield.

The devil knows he cannot attack God directly, so he attacks us. He uses our contradictory circumstances to scream lies and sow discouragement, desperately trying to pull us away from the Father's heart. His ultimate goal is to get you to agree with his lie that God’s promises are not real. The only thing that can actually keep you from receiving the blessing is choosing to follow the enemy's deception over God's absolute Truth.

The miraculous reality is that God already knows exactly where we are. He knows the attacks we face. And He uses this very friction to draw us closer to Him.

The deeper we dig into the Word to understand His character, the easier it becomes to see right through the lies of the enemy. Every time you choose to trust His promise over your current physical reality, your spiritual capacity expands. This is precisely how He builds us up and prepares us to receive the blessing He has waiting for us—a blessing that is truly beyond measure.
