The Holy Interval

We live in a culture that demands instant results, treating prayer like a vending machine: insert the request, receive the answer. When the answer doesn't appear on our timeline, we instinctively shift into "control mode." We begin to manipulate, worry, and force doors open. But today, we are reminded that faith does not live in the answer; faith lives in the interval between the prayer and the manifestation.

Control is the child of unbelief. When we try to take the wheel, we are explicitly stating that we do not trust the Father's timing or His ability to orchestrate the outcome. We see control as "being responsible," but in the Kingdom, it is merely a lack of peace.

Patience is not the ability to wait; it is the ability to maintain a good attitude while waiting. It is the decision to remain in a state of joy and supplication even when the circumstances remain unchanged. If you are anxious, you are not waiting—you are suffering. If you are at peace, you are preparing.

Think of the farmer: once the seed is planted, he does not dig it up every hour to see if it has sprouted. He trusts the process, he waters the ground, and he prepares for the harvest.

Your "waiting" is actually your "preparation." While you are in the interval, God is doing two things simultaneously: He is working on the outcome, and He is working on you. He is stripping away your need for control, refining your character, and ensuring that when the answer finally arrives, you are spiritually mature enough to steward it. If He gave you the answer before you were ready, the blessing would become a burden.

An "Alpha" who answers only to Jesus understands that the period of waiting is where the deepest relationship is built. This is where you bring your requests with thanksgiving, not because you see the victory yet, but because you know the Victor.

Supplication is the humility to admit you cannot do this on your own. Joy is the defiance of the enemy, proving that your peace is not tied to your bank account, your career, or your circumstances.

Stay in the interval. Stay in the peace. Keep your heart guarded, your eyes on the Commander, and your soul filled with the joy of knowing that He is already moving. The gap between your prayer and His answer is not a place of defeat—it is the training ground for your destiny.

The Control Audit: Identify one area where you are trying to force an outcome. Are you "digging up the seed" by constantly worrying about it?

The Shift: Today, move from "anxious waiting" to "joyful preparation." What can you do today to prepare your heart for the very thing you are praying for?

The Promise: Remind yourself that God is never late. His silence is not absence; it is orchestration.
