Holy Spirit Programming and Sanctification

Sanctification is the ongoing, daily process through which the Holy Spirit refines, cleanses, and transforms us. This refinement happens primarily by immersing ourselves in the living Word of God.

Even when we read scripture and feel like we don't fully understand everything we are looking at, our subconscious mind records everything. The miraculous truth is that the Word is alive—Jesus became flesh, walked among us, and died for our sins to permanently open an uncloseable door to the Father.

Have you ever noticed how, when we dream, we often replay specific scenarios, running through them over and over until we finally overcome them?

Because the spiritual realm is the true reality that eventually manifests in the physical world, this is often the Holy Spirit at work within us. Picture the dream world as a spiritual training module.

While dabbling in occult practices like astral projection opens unnatural gateways for demonic forces to enter a person, the indwelling Holy Spirit provides an impenetrable barrier.

This barrier serves as the secure base of operations for the Holy Spirit inside the believer. Here, He can work on us, program our minds, and test our resilience.

Should we stumble or fail a test in our waking or sleeping life, we simply go to Him and repent. That repentance instantly slams the door shut on the demonic, we cast out remaining residue in the name of Jesus, and He heals the stronghold at its root.

Scientific studies have shown that reading the Word of God actively builds new neural pathways in the brain. Remember, the brain is our antenna, and the mind is the operating system of our physical state of being.

When we feed the antenna with Scripture, we experience a divine software upgrade. Over time, we stop the destructive behaviors that used to trap us. For many of us, this looks like learning to run straight to Jesus with our panic instead of leaning on old coping mechanisms, thereby learning true endurance.

Endurance and longsuffering produce an immeasurable faith that the enemy can never break. True faith is simply turning our beliefs over to Him and trusting in His awesome power to heal, restore, and completely transform us. We truly are a new creation in Christ.

Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

Feeding the Antenna: Are you reading the Word daily, even on days when you don't fully understand it, trusting the Spirit to record and apply it?

Passing the Test: When you stumble, do you run straight to Jesus in repentance, or do you linger in shame and give the enemy a foothold?

Running to Jesus: What old coping mechanism is the Holy Spirit inviting you to replace with running to Him today?
